About the Host Institution

DTU - Technical University of Denmark

DTU was founded in 1829 by Hans Christian Ørsted — known for discovering the connection between electricity and magnetism, at the origin of all modern electricity generation—with the mission to create value using science to benefit society. DTU is committed to taking responsibility in sustaining a knowledge-based society and to addressing global issues such as the climate challenge.

The 2025 NAERE Workshop will be hosted by DTU Management, Department of Technology, Management and Economics. DTU Management’s Division of Climate and Energy Policy provides research on societal aspects of the green transition and on policy design to support it and has recently expanded as a visible research-oriented unit in the fields of environmental, climate, and energy economics and policy.
